ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Kristen Yang, an end-to-end project manager with 7 years of UX expertise based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

I am a Chinese-born, U.S.-raised creative project manager with a diverse background in UX, product development, visual design (including product, graphic, and surface design), and fashion design. I have studied abroad and worked in China, Canada, and the U.S. over the past two decades, which has given me a keen insight into global trends, and has honed my ability to make informed executive decisions by adapting to the cultural nuances of both Eastern and Western contexts, allowing me to effectively collaborate with diverse professionals. 

I specialize in directing creative visions and crafting user-centered designs that help businesses bridge the gap between design and development. With over 7 years of UX design & strategy experience, complemented by extensive end-to-end project management expertise, I believe I bring a unique combination of skills and a proven track record of success in leading multidisciplinary teams to create innovative and impactful products.

In addition to my corporate experience, I have launched several businesses, including an event planning and design service and a wholesale repository for masks. Currently, I am the founder of Winstonwants Fashion Wardrobe, an e-commerce business where I source high-quality pet apparel and design a responsive website. My social media account, @Winstonwants, has attracted a following of 300k across various platforms, enabling me to effectively manage the brand's marketing, logistics, and customer service.
